Must i stop wearing jeans since i am pregnant? (Query)

I am a 27-year-old woman within the third month of pregnancy. Normally i prefer wearing jeans over Indian wear. But recently, my sister informed me that wearing jeans while constricts the abdomen, which may cause complications. Will it be true? If you’re not jeans, then what can i wear? Please help.
