You are your food intake

Most would agree so good nutrition, along with a well-balanced diet and exercise are essential pieces to leading the kitchen connoisseur.

The general understanding is that dieting and exercise can help lower your chance of chronic diseases (like heart disease and cancer) and market your overall health. However, attempting to conserve a sense of control over our lives may become increasingly?difficult once we grapple using the rigorous demands of labor and family.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention U.S. Obesity Trends report, researchers discovered that unhealthy eating routine have contributed to the obesity epidemic in the United States; about one-third of U.S. adults (33.8 percent) are obese, and approximately 12.5 million (17 %) of kids and adolescents ages 2 to 19 are obese.

Even for individuals at a healthy weight, a poor diet is associated with major health risks that induce illness as well as death. These illnesses include cardiovascular disease, hypertension (hypertension), Type 2 diabetes, osteoporosis and certain kinds of cancer. Making smart food choices, helps protect you from health issues.

health enews sat down with Dr. Ian Smith, person in the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition along with a nutrition and health expert, to chat about advice on how to live your healthiest life:

“If I needed to write one prescription for all around health, it might be 30 to 40 minutes each day, five days per week, of moderate exercise,” says Dr. Smith.

Mark Parsons, an exercise physiologist at Advocate Christ Clinic in Oak Lawn, Ill., agrees.

“A sedentary lifestyle is the strongest predictor for coronary heart disease — more so than for hypertension, hypertension, obesity and cholesterol, combined,” he states.
Dr. Smith also offers these five helpful suggestions on diet, nutrition, exercise and health and fitness:

1)????? Try to do everything moderately.

2)????? Eat smaller meals.

3)????? Eat frequently.

4)????? Snack well.

5)????? Stay mentally and physically active.

Along with this advice, Dr. Smith suggests that we attempt and consume five areas of fruits and vegetables daily, as well as increase our fiber and protein intake.
